COPD, emphysema

One focus of our research involves the detailed investigation of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Of particular interest to us is how the limitations of lung function develop and what impact comorbidities and physical activity have on patients with COPD. Futhermore, telemedical approaches were investigated in collaboration with ETH Zurich, IBM Reserach and the company docdok. We investigate these research questions with ongoing new studies.

If you suffer from COPD and are interested in participating in a research project, we would be pleased to send you more detailed information. Please feel free to contact us at any time via the address provided.
